Questions about our green energy?
Give us a shout at 1.877.360.3464 (toll free)! Our customer service support line is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm EST. Or, send us an email at info@bullfrogpower.com. We always love hearing from our customers and people interested in green energy.

How does it work?
Bullfrog greens your energy by ensuring the electricity or natural gas going onto our energy systems on your behalf is from clean, renewable sources. This clean energy helps displace electricity and gas from polluting sources on our grid or pipeline.

We also use your support to help build community-based green energy projects, locally within your region as well as across Canada. Read more about our projects here.

So, in one purchase, you accomplish so much.

Your Bullfrog green energy premium is in addition to your regular electricity services and bills you receive from your utility. Also, your purchase is verified by Deloitte annually to ensure that your green energy was produced and accurately counted and credited to you.

Do I need to make any changes to my home?
None at all. Making the choice for clean, green energy is very easy! No special equipment or wiring is required, and signing up only takes a few minutes online.

How much does it cost?
The cost to go green with Bullfrog depends on the package you choose. You’ll receive a monthly bill for green energy, which ensures that the energy going on the grid or pipeline for you is from clean, green sources.

The cost of greening your energy is billed separately from your base electricity and natural gas costs and so you’ll need to maintain your services with your energy providers.

What are the Terms & Conditions?

Click here to get a copy of Bullfrog Power’s Terms & Conditions for green electricity and green natural gas.

Where does Bullfrog Power’s green electricity come from?
Bullfrog’s green electricity comes from a blend of wind and low-impact hydro power sourced from new Canadian renewable energy facilities, with at least 50% sourced directly from your region.

Where does Bullfrog’s green natural gas come from?
Our green natural gas comes from organic waste – like apple cores – at a Canadian landfill. At the site, we harness the gas released from the decaying materials, clean it up and put it on the national pipeline. It works just like regular natural gas!

How do I know Bullfrog does what it says it does?
Your green energy purchase is verified by Deloitte annually to ensure that your renewable energy was produced and accurately counted and credited to you. We publish our green energy audit every year; our audits can be viewed here.

What if I want to cancel?
If ever supporting green power doesn’t work for you anymore, you can cancel at any time with no penalty. You will just need to let our Customer Service Team know – and pay any fees incurred up to the date of cancellation.

Can rented homes, apartments and condos go green with Bullfrog?
Of course! We want to provide green energy to everyone. Any facility can go green with Bullfrog Power, including homes that are owned, leased or shared.

Remember, Bullfrog does not inject the green electricity directly into your home. With Bullfrog Power, you continue to draw electricity from the electricity grid – just as you always have. We ensure the energy going onto the systems on your behalf is from clean, renewable sources.

Even if you are not billed for electricity directly (e.g., renters whose energy costs are absorbed in their rent), you can still sign up for Bullfrog Power’s green energy.
