St. Mary River Drops 4, 5 and 6 Hydroelectric Plant

Green electricity source

The St. Mary River Project is an extensive irrigation development that collects, stores and conveys water for approximately 500,000 acres of irrigated agriculture. Along the river channel, hydroelectricity is generated at several drops–including the Drops 4, 5 and 6 Hydroelectric Plant–which feeds into the Alberta electricity grid.
